Meet Chef Jay

Hi, I’m Johnovan Morgan, the heart and soul behind Jus Cus Kitchen.

Cooking has always been more than just food for me — it’s about creating moments that bring people together. The name Jus Cus was inspired by my mom’s words: “Don’t wait to give me my roses when I’m dead. Give them to me while I’m still alive.” Those words stuck with me and became the foundation of everything I do — using my passion to give back, put smiles on faces, and make people feel celebrated while they’re here to enjoy it.

As a Private Chef and Caterer, I love crafting meals that not only taste incredible but tell a story. Whether it’s an intimate dinner or a full catering experience, my goal is to make every bite memorable. Outside the kitchen, I’m a writer and entrepreneur, always dreaming up new ways to inspire and connect with others through food.
